26-05-2010Sony introduces the XMPilot, a new workflow solution that offers PDW-700 & PDW-F800 offers users the ability to seamlessly transfer Planning Metadata from newsroom or production office to camcorders in the field.
The wireless operation is activated by software product, CBKZ-UPG01 SONY Software Upgrade Key which can work with V1.6 firmware for PDW-700/F800. Bundled with the CBK-WA01 Sony Wi-Fi Adapter is the Sony Planning Metadata Add-in which allows users to view live video on a smartphone display and log with touch panel, create and edit Planning Metadata with MS Outlook ‘Task’, transfer Planning Metadata by email, and offers direct Planning Metadata transfer via Wi-Fi.
